Section VII- Precautions for Safe Handling and Use

Avoid eye contact.  Use in well ventilated area.  Avoid inhalation of dust during sanding operation. 

 

Spill/Release/Disposal Information: Scoop up, place product into original container for reuse or disposal.

                                                                Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and  local guidelines for handling

                                                                non-hazardous waste.

 

Storage:                 Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.  Store between 40 F and 90 F.

Respiratory Protection:       Wear NIOSH approved respiratory protection or dust mask when sanding product.

Ventilation:                            Apply product using adequate ventilation.

Protective Gloves:                Plastic or rubber gloves may be used to avoid skin contact.

Eye Protection:                     Eye protection in the form of protective glasses or goggles is recommended if product

Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.  Wash hands and contacted areas with soap and water before taking breaks and after completing work.

Information on  Bicyclic Oxazolidines:

This product contains a chemical, formaldehyde (less than 1 ppm) known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity (Proposition 65).

 

This product does not contain a chemical listed in SARA Section 313 at or above de minimus concentrations.

 

Release of this product to air, land or water is not reportable to the National Response Center under CERCLA or SARA.

 

Discarded material is classified as a RCRA non-hazardous waste.

 

All components of this product are in compliance with the inventory listing requirements of the U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act  (TSCA) Chemical Substances Inventory.
